It can throw the beam up to a distance of 30 metres and it has a run-time of 18 hours from a new set of batteries. The head and the body of the torch are rubberised to provide a good grip when in hazardous environments.
It uses two AAA alkaline batteries which are secure in the safety locking battery compartment, that requires a hex key to open for ATEX standard conformity. Only specific types of AAA alkaline batteries are permitted for use in this torch, they are as follows: Energizer E92, Duracell MN2400, Panasonic AAA LR03 and Rayovac AAA LR03.
A push button tail switch turns the torch on and off, while the included lanyard and built in pocket clip make carrying this penlight hassle free.
